Important Member Update
FilmPass has been paused since December 23rd, 2024, due to unresolved issues within our supply chain. Until a stable and satisfactory resolution is reached, we are unable to provide cinema tickets or access to the FilmPass Club.

We continue to hold serious concerns that data collected during the booking or redemption of cinema tickets, via our supplier chain, may be used to generate behavioural insights under the justification of fraud prevention. We believe this may involve tracking and profiling activities that have not been clearly disclosed to consumers.

Over the past six months, we have made repeated attempts to request transparency and verify compliance from all involved parties. Instead of receiving clarity, we have encountered a consistent pattern of non-cooperation, deflection, and policy changes following our enquiries.

Crucially, our efforts to identify the true parties behind misleading supplier websites have been stonewalled by our payment processor, Stripe, who has consistently refused to disclose the ultimate beneficiary of our stock purchases. Without this fundamental transparency, FilmPass Ltd cannot fully resolve the underlying issues.
Therefore, FilmPass Ltd initiated legal proceedings against our payment processor, Stripe on 22nd July 2025, to compel the transparency needed to address these serious matters.
The full details of our complaint will shortly become public record, accessible via court filings. FilmPass Ltd will provide further information on how to access these public records once available.

We acknowledge that some members may choose to raise a dispute with their card provider. We will not challenge this process, though any refund outcome remains at the discretion of the provider and subject to their terms.

All member benefits remain preserved. We are determined to pursue this to a transparent resolution that protects our members and promotes fair practice in the industry.
